Hi everyone

I am a graphic designer and love all things artistic! I love finding beautiful things and incorporating them into my life. I can spend hours looking in magazines and online to get inspired. I feel the need to get inspired and I think that this can be a good place to find like minded friends. I recently have discoverd how fun it is to mix stlyes up. Stuff I always thought wasn't really my taste all of sudden was once I placed it into my living space.

cable troubles

hi everyone

I have a huge problem that is driving me crazy. My problem is a cable problem. See I don't have a television or stereo so I use my laptop for everything from watching movies to surfing the internet to iistening to music. This means It is never stationary and is constantly in a different spot. These cables are usually stretched across the whole living room causeing not only an eye sore but a walking hazard. Power cable, modem cable, telephoen cable, tv cable. Oh my goodness it's sooooo ugly. If anyone has any idea as to how I could mabe fix this problem or better hide the cables because i really don't know what to do. thanks for listening!

where to start?

So the strangest thing is I love looking at and reading about interior design, however, my own place needs some serious help. The situation is this: I moved across the ocean and had to build my home from scratch. Sounds like fun I know but it can also be overhwhelming when making big purchases that have to stand the test of time. So slowly I have accumulated things I like but after THREE YEARS I still am missing some key pieces and feel very unorganized. I need a closet that i like and that seems to be the most challenging thing to find as of yet. Most of my walls are still pretty bare. I don't know what is wrong with me.
