'Tis the season
By CyFreeI know times are hard, and we're all struggling in this economy, but it is always possible to scrape or set something aside to help those (so many this year!) less fortunate and donate to some trustworthy charity.
My pick, every holiday, is Toy for Tots. I was fortunate enough to have had always wonderful Christmas memories. My folks always managed to put something under the tree for all the kids.
Which is why I am so passionate about a cause like Toys for Tots, that puts a smile on the faces of needy children all over U.S. by giving them toys, when their families can't. I think no child should spend Christmas without a treat.
If you live in Seymour, Basement Systems headquarters is a Toys for Tots drop-off location, and this year we are collecting money as well to buy presents and gift cards for older kids and teens.
Bring an unwrapped toy or cash donations to any drop off location and make a little one happy this Xmas.
