Seeking Herman Miller Soft Pad Management Chair in CA

By Cracker

Hi,

Great chair right?  Have you seen one for sale?  Have one you want to sell?   I have been trolling eBay and craigslist for weeks and weeks looking for a real one.  Lots of Blueprint knock-off's out there, but I am looking the authentic He » READ MORE

I have another suggestion as well, but ran out of line space! I suggest sponge-painting your fireplace.  Given your furniture and fixture and frame color scheme, go with a soft, soft, soft silvery tone. I don't have any good ideas for this one, you'll have to play with it. Sponge right over the existing white. Use 2-3 shades to allow the texture of the fireplace to create solitude in the piece that already exists by its very nature. The silvers will look fabulous against your coffee table. I think it would still go well with the Halcyon Green walls and Tanager ceiling that I suggested earlier. But see what happens when you paint walls/ceiling, you may be pleased with what happens to the room after this is finished.  Please post photos when you have it finished! Anxiously awaiting!!

Hey! I'm not much of a furniture guru, but I love the lines and the fabrics. Very introspective. I am not the measuring stick for color and design, but I'll tell you what I feel when I look at your photos. I feel a cool, clean space that wants to draw you in and clear your mind. I feel a refreshing place that wants you to look around and enjoy, think, and learn. I think the Sherwin Williams color Halcyon Green (no. 6213) would let the walls have subtle life of their own without glaring back at you when you walk in. The ceiling should be painted a shade of red, such as Sherwin's Tanager (6601). I think some like walls to be the focal point, and furniture and accessories should add to the walls. You do not want this in this space that you have created. You want the lines and life of the walls to surround you, but not devour.

Everything matches, the bed gets made while you're out, and breakfast in bed is only a phone call away.
