I am passionate. Whether it is about photography, design, travel or friends, I immerse myself in life.

I have lived all of my twenty-one years in the gorgeous state of Tennessee and plan to never leave. She is a source of inspiration and a canvas of all things beautiful.

I am currently a college student with a major in art and a concentration in photography. I am working towards my BA and have plans to pursue a Master's Degree, as well.

My photography is nature at her best, a search for beauty in the ordinary, an on-going experiment, and the love of my life.

My photographs focus on the use of light, shadows, and texture. My goal is to explore and capture my surroundings - both natural and man-made.

Love the black and white photos.  A friend gave me a framed B&W print that she took at an old copper mine in the UP of Michigan and it's one of my favorite things.  I grew up in a small town in MI and was home over the summer.  While there I noticed our old water tower and thought that it would look pretty cool in B&W.... just a thought :)

Thanks for adding me to your friend's list!  You have a great eye, beautiful photography.  I would love to see the pendants you are making, what materials do you use for them?  I make pendants, use stained glass, solder, etc.  The inside of the pendants are usually punched copper or pewter.  Maybe some day you can give me a few tips on how best to photograph my stuff!

If you are ever interested, check out my sister-in-law, Carol Andrews, she is a master photographer, lives in Houston.  andrewsphoto.com  My brother was the first photographer and started teaching her and got her interested in the medium.  He died almost 15 years ago, was too young to go thought.  She has continued the craft, teaches all over the world, does a lot of photojournaling, etc.

You have beautiful photos, can't wait to see what you do next!  Best of luck,

Gracie
