Polaroid is Back in Business.

Dateline February 2008: Polaroid announces they're getting out of the Polaroid business.
Dateline October 2009: No, they're not.

Re-inventing a new analog integral film, we are now preparing, supporting and managing the comeback of Instant Photography…
Polaroid will re-launch the legendary Polaroid One Step Camera and is therefore commissioning The Impossible Project to develop and produce a limited edition of Polaroid® branded Instant Films in the middle of 2010." Polapremium
With the up-and-down status, it may make it hard to invest in a new camera for which you might not be able to buy film (again!) in a year, but this should excite analog fans everywhere.

My Grilfrend is going to be so happy to read this. We just came back from Disneylad (for the millionth time) and took a were snapping with a Holga, iPhones and a Cybershot. But we with we had film for the Polaroid. Filt that did not cost $40 a pop.
Hopefully in the spring of 2010 on our next trip, we can take some flix with it.
