Wood Slice Walkway.

By Chrisjob

"This wonderful wood sliced walkway was photographed by Katy Elliott during a trip to the Portland Flower Show earlier this year. Assuming you had some rot resistant wood, this would be a great use of old or found material."

Completely DiY-able, and a great reuse of available materials.

Wouldn't it start to rot after awhile? I love the look of it. I bet you could also paint or stain terracotta pavers to look similar. Assuming of course you could find round ones of different shapes...

Our neighbor growing up, John Adams, (ha!) cut down a gigantic tree in his back yard and made an entire patio that ran the full width of his little mid century track home. He was a stoic old guy with three lively teenagers. Lots of memories of hanging out at their house when I was about 7 - 10 years old.
