Remembering Julius Shulman.
By Chrisjob
A recent Design Within Reach DesignNotes newsletter article pays tribute to photographer Julius Shulman, who passed away on July 15, 2009, at the age of 98. Shulman was THE catalogue-r of the mid-century modern architecture and furniture movement, and his photos of Case Study homes and iconic interior design are regarded as authoritative. There are countless books and ads featuring his work, as well as the documentary Visual Acoustics.
Read the DWR article here, and please, do your own Googling. Appreciate the man.
