The Paint Swatch Wall.
By Chrisjob
Oh. My. Goodness. Sometimes there's those projects where you're like, "Oh, how clever" and forget about them. Sometimes there's those projects that you appreciate, and them recommend them to someone that might be able to make use of them.
And then there's those projects that you simply HAVE to make for yourself. This paint swatch wall is one of those for me. Perhaps its the use of the gradient colors against white. Perhaps it's the geometric repitition. Perhaps it just echoes the the fact that everytime I go to the hardware store and I see all the swatches, I say "man, that's exactly what I want in my house."
Whether I slowly glean samples from the store like Scott, or I take Grace's suggestion and order swatches directly from the manufacturer... I'm doing this. I mean it. Photos will follow.
Check out Scott's process here.

Chris, you don't have to take just a few at a time. I've taken one of three or four rows at Lowes before. I'd have taken more, but when my hubby's with me I either leave when he's ready or get left behind.
OK, he's never left me behind, but he might! ;^)

I was going to crochet a headborad covering like this, but swatches beat crocheting, hands down!
