Create Fresh Summer Scented Linens Year Round.

By Chrisjob

I was born in 1982. We ALWAYS had an electric clothes drying machine, and I admit the only times I've used a clothesline to dry my clothes have been outside the United States.

But, I've read the poetry. I know the images. I've seen the commercials. The smell of the sun on your bedsheets is, apparently, an amazing thing. And with THESE tips, apparently even folks like me, can get in on it. All year long.

Why Chris, you are just a baby! LOL. I have a son that was born in 1982. I had a dryer, but also had a clothesline at that time. For a couple years anyway. I dry all my hubby's wicking clothes on hangers and will soon have a ceiling fan in our laundry room along with retractable clothes lines. If we ever screen in our sleeping porch I'll put up lines there too. I've really missed drying clothes on the line, but I'd have to carry clothes down (and back up) two flights of stairs in order to dry them outside. Our sleeping porch is on the same level as the laundry room so I could handle that easily enough. I'm not a spring chicken anymore so I like it easy. Green, but easy green. ;^) So learn from an oldie that you can still save some energy dollars if you don't mind a little extra work.
