Haha. That's a great tip, especially for those with big storage freezers in the basement or garage. I wonder if you could also keep frozen food that's past its date or freezer burnt, or if that'd be dangerous.

Also, if your freezer compartment is on the empty side, fill used milk cartons or plastic bottles full of water and put them inside the freezer. The ice keeps the freezer colder which makes it work less.

(Must be 'green' day.)
