DIY on NPR.

Yesterday's Weekend Edition Sunday on National Public Radio featured a story on participation in the monster DIY movement via the web. Contributer Jon Kalish interviews folks from Instructables, Etsy, and Make magazine, as well as some genius DIYsters from around the web. My fave quote comes from Jay Baldwin, of the previously glorious Whole Earth Catalog:
"When you make things by hand, it's yours; there's no mystery how it got made. If you get an idea and you make it yourself, there's something about that that is really good for you."
