How To Make 3D Stars.

By Chrisjob

Making these beautiful 3D stars is as easy as drawing a straight line and cutting it. (Don't worry, you can use a straight edge). They can be easily transformed into ornaments, placecards, or simply adorn your flat surfaces 'round the holidays.

Materials:

  • Scrap paper
  • Foam board (Don't use polystyrene, it's bad for the environment)
  • Utility or craft knife
  • Ruler
  • Pencil
  • Paint, glitter, markers, etc for decorating.

i made a GIANORMOUS set of these a few years back for my church's holiday display.

we used 4x8 sheets of that pink insulation foam, which we painted yellow and then gold. the 'middle' part is 8 feet long, the two side portions were cut from a 4x4 sheet so they're like, 5.5 from point to point?

they still look awesome-5 years on!
