Are any of these plants safe for cats to eat?  I'd love to have some plants for air-cleaning and decorative purposes, but my cats eat every plant I've had around them so far (mostly cat grass, admittedly), so I worry about them.  So many plants are poisonous to cats that I just don't try.

Agreed about the beneficial properties of house plants but many of the plants listed are not large leaved also I seem to remember reading some time ago that spider plant (chlorophytum) was one of the valuable plants for removing air pollution. I wonder why some plants would be more effective than others?
