Curbly Challenge!

The Curbly Challenge is a monthly contest that seeks to inspire creativity, discussion, and community among Curbly members. Each month, Curbly users will be challenged to use, take inspiration from, or remake a particular material, object, or medium to create something beautiful or useful for their home.

When the item has been designated (around the first Monday of each month), users have 10 days to make something amazing. The contest will be judged by Curbly’s Featured Writers, on the following criteria:

creativity and cleverness of use of the designated material

quality and appearance of the final product

indication that the user has integrated the product into one’s life (i.e. part of home décor or wardrobe, use in everyday activities, gift for another, etc)

Submissions must include a photo. How-To posts detailing the process are definitely encouraged, but not required. Ideas/blueprints/designs will be considered, but will not win if there are entries in which a project is executed and completed. Past projects that use the specific item will be considered.

The winners will receive a $75 gift card to Amazon.com, and a special Curbly post indicating their success.* Once one has won a Curbly Challenge, please wait one month before submitting a project for consideration.
