Make Mylanta-Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream For St. Patrick's Day!

By Chrisjob

I plan to have a tame St. Patrick's Day, but this is too cool not to pass on. I, unfortunately, gave up ice cream for Lent, but my mates agree: It's delicious!

Ingredients:

1 cup (1/2 Pint) Heavy Whipping Cream

1 Cup (1/2 Pint) Whole Milk

3 oz (by weight) Granulated Sugar

5 oz Chocolate Shavings

1 tps. Peppermint Extract

1/2 of large bottle of Mylanta

Simply mix in your ice cream maker, following its instructions. For soft-serve, eat immediately. For harder ice cream, store in the freezer for 4-6 hours.

Yuck! Not for the Mylanta bit, but after a very unfortunate overconsumption of Girl Scout Thin Mints, I can no longer partake of anything mint chocolate. BTW: My mother would give you serious props on the lenten sacrifice ;)
