What would yo do?

Hello to all... We are moving in july in our new house and I try to figure out a little bit in advance how I will decorate the rooms. And I can't decide what I'll do with the wooden walls in my living room.

Do I leave it like this, do I paint it, tint it, cut it at the half of the wall... I'm not sure. There are 2 walls like that. Also I would like to change the fireplace.

All your suggestions are welcome!

I think you should leave it as is... we had success painting over wood paneling in our living room, but yours looks much more textured than our was.
