I'm a happily married mother of three, plus my golden(actually my fourth child). My husband and I remodel houses as a side job - we both work in Healthcare. It started with building our own home and just grew from there. He also builds custom furniture, usually mission, & cabinetry when we're remodeling a house. Usually leaving me to work on the aesthetics; flooring, faux finishes, and upholstering his furniture.

Hey Jen,

Thanks for the comment. I see your husband builds furniture. If you are interested we sometimes offer remnants of the Weathered Stone on Ebay. We just did a posting today wich will run for a week.

Hi Buckeyejdb, nise to meet you. I also have 3 children, but they already grown-up. I do a lot of things myself. I know it is not easy to raise 3 kids.

Hi Jen!

Thank you for the encouragement! I just put down the lists on the paintjobs and I'm about to schedule them. Do you have any idea: the ceiling in our "middle room" has been painted with some sort of oil paint, probably around the Mid-Seventies. There are several layers of white colour (normal German wall painting stuff) on it, but the oil paint makes the white peel off.

I have no idea how to get rid of it...
