Make suzani-themed pillows from napkins

By Bromeliad

The home design blog The Estate of Things has a terrific easy do-it-yourself project for making suzani-inspired pillows for less than $5 a piece. And they could be done without a sewing machine.

Betsy started with a set of suzani-print napkins from The World Market and two pillow forms. See the full post at The Estate of Things.

Pretty fabric. Colorful scarfs and bandannas also could be used.

I just used those same placemats to make a laptop bag with a strap made from a leather skirt from Goodwill. It will be in the Indianapolis Star on Saturday. Good eye!!!
