The kitchen of a family vacation home in the California mountains

Snapped this photo while making coffee on Christmas Eve. the snow had been falling and I felt good sipping coffee, watching it and listening to some Martin Denney on the record player..

This piece represents my Mother's 1970's dishes for our Family Kitchen. I purchased it on ebay after seeing the one remaining piece in my older sister's tea cabinet. We were raised on the West Coast of the U.S., but lived for two years in London and traveled in Europe. Our Mother chose this set and a stainless steel silverware set as well. My love of quality modern stems back to this time. Our Mother has impeccable taste and we were lucky to have these dishes on our everyday kitchen shelf. I chose these tags, as I am in the position of writing my siser's obituary and will use all notes on-hand to get this writing done, including:
ebay, inspiration, art, style, relic, family, eulogy, elegy, past, memory, keeper
