I started collecting back when I was a kid. It started small. Comic books and science fiction books. After the Army and school, I realized that I had so many different collections that I was running out of room! My mom and I used to go to rummage sales in the summer and search for "treasures". If it's old, I will probably like it. If its pottery, glass or mid century, I will probably LOVE it! My one bedroom apartment is a cluttered mess and I have no more room to bring in anything else. Slowly making room, but it's hard as I keep finding more cool things.. *sigh*

 I work with adults with physical disabilities and find the work very rewarding. At the end of the day, I feel that if I helped make a person's day a bit better, I have done my job. At times it can be emotionally draining and physically demanding, but I love it. 

 I have a quirky sense of style. My place is a mish-mash of different eras. From the 1930's to the 1960's. Danish modern and retro 50's kitsch. 

 I'm in the process of refinishing a few furniture pieces and can always use a fresh perspective or positive advice on my humble decorations and arrangements.
