So, I painted the walls this rich purple, which I love, but, now what? I'm dizzy trying to figure out what else this room needs and which of the pieces I have I should keep or chuck. We love the fireplace, the chandelier, our corner cupboard and the new piano. I have considered doing a rug under the dining room table, re-doing the mantle display, culling the china display down, getting some different art for the walls and tweaking the color scheme to make sure the purple comes off as lavish and not overwhelming and loud. I need serious help. Any ideas?

12" x 12" Giclee print. My patio I had built back when I was young and single and living in Simi Valley, CA. I love arches and anything Spanish Style.

Here is a pick of our Faux Brick-wall that we put up in our place in order to make it more lofty looking. We love old-world, warm features and this made the place so much more home feeling as opposed to a regular old condo that resembles an apartment.

Here is our condo without the hardwood. Carpet is SO apartment in a small place like this. We like it in the bedrooms, but not the living area. Plus with a dog, carpet is a No No. It gets dirty too fast.

Here is our downtown condo living room before we did the brick wall and before we moved in. We had just finished the hardwood floors. It's a small place, but it's comfortable.
