Hi everyone!  About me... well, I am an interior designer and I love what I do!  Before designing, I was a systems engineer, so I still enjoy the technical side of design - you know, autoCAD, SketchUp, PhotoShop, and most recently I've been using ArchiCAD.  What a great tool!  However, the artsy side of me still enjoys sketching by hand and rendering.  There isn't a part of the process that does not intrigue me to be honest.  I'm a space planning diva - give me a room, I'll make it work!  I love finding the perfect finishes and furniture.  And, yes, I am a bargain hunter - it's in my blood, I just can't help it.  It's so satisfying to me to find something that can be modified (or not) and used again in a whole new way.  To give life to a space is so fulfulling!!   The majority of my work has been in the commercial arena, but I'm looking to expand into reseidential as well.  (I have both a commercial and residential AZ contractors license).  I am becoming more and more interested in Green design - from every aspect, not just materials, but also construction techniques, and other areas outside of interior design.  

I also teach interior design as an adjunct at The Art Center Design College here in Tucson.  I love to teach and have an impact on the new designers entering the field.
