Prevent people from walking into your glass door

By Affinity

I love glass! glass door.. glass walls..etc.. but after i've had a few guests walk into them at home (It was a very loud Booonkk!! .. and my heart jumped when they hit the glass.. i was quite sure its due to the concern i had for my guests..tho i was equally worried about the condition of my glass wall after such a loud knock.. heeh)

So i decided to do something about the glass.. placed a plant in front of the kitchen glass panel.. and cut out black contact paper to stick in front of my balcony glass.. not sure what else i can do now. just hope no-one walks into it anymore :)

Hi DesigningMom! my hubby had the same idea of sticking frosted sheets to our glass too but we didnt get down to buying them so we made do with the black contact paper we had leftover. Nah i'm not that good with the exacto ;) made some mistakes that cant be seen on the photo. hehe TrinaB, thats hilarious! I've seen people walk into shopwindow glass in malls but thats real painful to watch:)

My father used to clean our glass door right before my boyfriend would show up, then snicker for days when he walked into it. (But really, after once or twice, you'd think he'd learn.)

I've been thinking of doing something with contact paper to all our doors and some of the windows too.  I have added what they call frosted glass to the slider at our last home for a combination of privacy and glare from sun and to the sidelights of our main entrance here.

Your design pattern is so much pretier though!  You're very talented with an exacto knife.
