You've probably heard the phrase "turned my house upside down" looking for something, but did you ever think you'd see it literally? Check out this Upside Down House loactaed in small village called Szymbark in Poland.
Daniel Czapiewski, Polish businessman and philanthropist, built this house as an artistic statement about the Communist era and current state of the world. Czapiewski’s company would normally take three weeks to construct a house, but this structure was constructed in 114 days and the workers had to take one hour break for every three hours while working inside because they were disorientated and confused by the strange angles of the walls. Many tourists who visit complain of mild seasickness and dizziness after just a few minutes of being in the structure.
The upside down house is not the first unusual structure made by Czapiewski. His name entered into Guinness Book of World Records for making the longest single piece of wood in the world. Now let’s take a look at some pictures with this house.
