Before winding up the Wine Bottle Roundup, you may want to quickly put together a mod puffy snowman gift tag/ornament. Made from a houndstooth remnant, dacron, felt and a silver 1/2″ grommet, he’s a cute little touch of MOD anyone would love. This is fast and easy if you have the materials in your craft stash.
1. Use round patterns to draw three concentric circles in a snowman shape on a piece of fabric, dacron and a felt back.
2. Toptstitch and cut out the snowman with the tab on top for the grommet.
3. Use small scissors to cut the hole for the grommet installation.
4.Install the grommet. (This was the real reason I wanted to make this. hehe)
5. Tie a ribbon through the grommet. Add two little red felt eyes and cut out a white circle to stick on the gift.
And when you’re ready to use it as tree ornament, just pull off the white gift tag and hang on your tree. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!
