Only if you live in a house full of laminated tabletops do you not need coasters. I’ve been known to pull a hamstring while darting over to slide a coaster under a guest’s drink. It’s not that I’m a big old fuss budget with my house, I just can’t stand to see those white circles left by watery drink glasses. You can imagine my surprise (and delight) when I saw a DIY Coaster Roundup over on How About Orange and there in the bottom right corner were my tree limb coasters I originally posted right here on Curbly.
