Tarted Up Galvanized Planters

by on Jul 14, 2010

There’s something about a galvanized steel bucket. It’s well built, dependable and good looking. All things a lusty farmer might look for in a farmhand. Because they look good naked–the buckets, I mean–I wouldn’t have thought to tart them up, but with a little paint, they become quite dapper and citified. Julie painted the tub above a while back (like 8 or 9 years ago), but harsh summers and winters had taken their toll. She decided to make it over and give it a shot of sunny yellow.

So, so sweet. To see how Julie did it, follow this jump to Less Than Perfect Life of Bliss. And here are some galvanized steel buckets and tubs to ogle.
