The Evolution of Household Budgets from the 1950’s to 2000’s

In the 1950’s the average home size was 983 square feet. In the 90’s it was 2,080 square feet. In In the 50’s the median house hold income was $23, 738. By the 80’s it had almost doubled. Back in the day, 4 hours and 31 minutes were wasted watching TV. Today the average amount of time watching TV per household per day is 8 hours and 14 minutes.
