Thanks serena, I am planning to build a whole series of these in the coming months in a variety of shapes and styles all constructed from recycled material.

Wow! Can you really play it? How'd you learn to make instruments?

Yes it plays like a normal guitar for the most part. I was messing about in the workshop one day looking for something to do and there was a neck and bridge and two pickup covers in a box of miscellaneous bits and pieces and I decided id recycle them and create a unique instrument. I was surprised at the results and frustrated by the lack of innovation in the guitar world so I decided to make a larger project out of it. The designs have not changed much since the strat and material choice is limited so I spent a few months at the drawing board and hopefully very soon Ill begin construction of several guitars built entirely from things you would not normally build guitars from.

My boyfriend home recorded an eco-friendly anthem called "Post Suzuki". I'm going to tell him to have a look at your guitar. So perfect! You can listen to the song online at: http://www.thedept.ca/music-group-7.html
