Intro to Furniture Design at 3rd Ward
By 3rd Ward BrooklynStudents will design furniture with an emphasis on woodworking techniques while gaining first-hand knowledge in a wide-ranging set of woodworking skills that can be applied to future building projects. Beyond tutorials in tools and techniques, students will receive individual attention during the design and construction phases of their project. Woodshop machine use and safety will be covered so that students will gain the knowledge and confidence they need to get started building their projects.
