Take a Tour: My Fairy Garden Adventure

by on Mar 17, 2014

This weekend I took a tour of the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum fairy garden exhibit. With camera in hand, I gleefully entered a wee, magical land. Although there were no Leprechauns to be seen, sharing my photos seemed like the perfect way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.

As it turns out, not all fairies like the same kind of architecture (just like we Curbliers).

Mother Hubbard’s shoe would be a McMansion next to a mushroom house.

Let’s not forget the homes’ surrounding gardens or their inhabitants.

"Fairy garden adventure is with angel."

Did I mention gnomes were welcome in this neighborhood too?

Most of the fairies’ homes were charming.

But some were a little spooky.

Maybe even haunted.

"Colourful fairy tiny house."

Be that as it may, all occupants seemed very happy with their living arrangements.

Others were oblivious.

Thanks for taking the tour and Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
