Eye Candy: Our 11 Favorite Tiny Homes

Tiny and adorable, these 11 homes are our all-time favorites . . . so far. Some are all out livable while others are perfect oases from an otherwise hectic life.

Less than the cost of a new car (and some used) the cute-as-a-button Shoebox from Tennessee Tiny Homes starts at $22,500. Here’s an exterior shot:

Designated the best small house plan of 2013, this plan suits me just fine. Again, outside:

A teeny, tiny getaway (or should I say ‘reading nook?’) with a teeny, tiny price tag, the $200 Micro House only cost $200. Outside:

We’re still impressed by Susan’s hand-built micro house. You go girl!  Outside:

A kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living space are tucked into this 144 square foot mini pre-fab. Its exterior:

Who could forget when the tiniest house in the world sold a few years back? Outside:

If you’re a fan of tiny houses, then you know the work of Tumbleweed. This little number called the Linden is a perfect cabin by the lake. Its exterior:

If your idea of a cabin leans more contemporary, then the Nido, a cabin in the woods, might just be the thing you’re looking for. The Nido outside:
