How To: Make a Neon Typographic Sign

I’ve been seeing neon signs popping up on Pinterest a lot lately, and of course, we’ve all seen the nail string art projects. What about something that combines the two though? This clever DIY is one I definitely want to try.

The folks at Brit + Co created this typographic nail string art that is also a neon sign because instead of string they used raw EL wire. So you can plug it in and it lights up. How smart is that?
