The Curbly House: Our Sunroom, Styled by Emily Henderson

Our bright and airy sunroom styled by Emily Henderson

By now, you've heard everything you could ever care to know about our makeover series with Emily Henderson. Today, we're sharing the last room she styled in our house: the sunroom.

This room was by far the trickiest one to tackle, because of it's narrow floor plan and window nook. The results are simply stunning. For all the details, head over to Emily's site.

But before you go check out this awesome video our friend John Kingman made about the week we spent with Orlando and Emily:

Stacey: We really love our wall color, in all seasons! We have plenty of overcast days in Minnesota, and the Aloof Gray has never been a downer (nor has the Sea Salt, which is what we used in the sun room). The gray is a beautiful, light color that has a lot of variation depending on the natural light in our house (sometimes it's more green, other times more gray). I'd recommend giving it a try; Sherwin-Williams has little test sizes that work well for trying things out. Good luck!

This whole series was just amazing.  You must be so proud of how your home has turned out, it's absolutely stunning!

One quick question: how does your wall color feel on endless overcast grey days?  We are thinking of painting our place a similar color, but after a week without sun, I'm reconsidering (and yes, we need a few more lamps, that will be addressed after the holidays).
