Easy DIY Framed Utensils

created at: 08/14/2012

Art doesn't have to be expensive, especially in a room like the kitchen.  All it takes is some digging around in drawers et voila!  You have yourself a simple art piece.
Wooden utensils are easy to find, and even easier to put in a frame on your wall.  A unique vintage find would be a great specimen choice, or I could always frame that wooden spoon that I stuck too far in the blender, just for memory's sake.

Without the glass in the frame, the dimension of the spoons are just awesome.

Wouldn't you like to find a frame like that?  Me too.  Frame envy.

Can you tell me where you got this frame from?? Or did you put the striped backing paper on yourself?

Haha I love this, I call it 'personal art', it's a great low budget way of spicing the decor of a place up though...all you need to do is get a good colour scheme going!
