How to: Make DIY Modern Ombré Stained Wooden Wall Art

The ombrè trend is still going strong in the fashion and style words – with fabric, clothing, and even hair taking on lovely gradients and transitional colors. So, I asked myself – could I create this effect using wood and stain?    And…I did!

We teamed up with ScotchBlue painter’s tape to create this fun, original how-to project for our “brother site”: ManMade! Head there to check it out in full. If type isn’t your thing, you could apply this same technique to anything: furniture, shelving, even just a big piece of plywood hung on the wall as an installation. The options are endless!
