If you’ve seen those leather scrap bundles at your local craft store and have wondered what to do with them, wonder no more! We’ve got a simple afternoon DIY project that will add a touch of rustic charm to your decor — for cheap!
Voila! Look at that! It’s an elegant/rustic/modern/awesome leather bowl. Don’t you just want to make one right this minute? I do! Alicia from Dismount Creative has all the deets on how to transform a bag of miscellaneous leather scraps into a beautiful bowl — check out her post for a supply list and instructions!
Meanwhile, I think this is a great jumping off point for creating bowls from other materials: felt, heavy card stock, wood veneer… you name it! What material would you use?
(Also, check out this similar and equally fabulous no-sew felt basket! I’d love to try that with leather!)
