Does the Ionic Breeze Really Work?

by on Mar 22, 2007

Here’s a question to coincide with badbadivy’s query about cutting down on indoor pollution with plants. I’ve been kicking around the idea of getting an Ionic Breeze for awhile now, but they sound too good to be true, if you ask me. Has anyone had any experience with these? Anybody have success with them cutting down allergy symptoms? Are they worth the price tag?? (I have a rather large Honeywell air purifier right now, which actually works, but when running it sounds like a small aircraft engine!)

  1. We have had 4 of the Quadra units which worked fine for ten years. They got a lot of dust and gunk out of the air, finally the ionizer wires started breaking until all stopped. I found instructions and where to get parts to put new wires in them. My electronics whiz friend has one fixed, and working fine, he will fix the other three floor units, and three desktop units. I love these things.
